Surcharges / Information
We kindly ask you to inform us of possible allergies by no later than 7 days prior to your arrival, so that we can prepare accordingly, otherwise we can not consider you allergy. We levy a surcharge of € 16,00 per person per night for the preparation of vegan food.
We offer this kind of breakfast and dinner only, if you bood the vegan option in advance.
If you do not have dinner on the day of your arrival and inform us within good time (on arrival day by 15:00 hrs)
- € 11,- per night for adults
- € 7,- per child aged 7 - 14 years
- € 4,- per child aged 3 - 7 years
will be deducted from your invoice. This is unfortunately not possible if you cancel any later.
Breakfast on arrival day per person
- € 17,50,- per adult 15 years +
- € 13,50,- per child aged 10 14 years
- € 9,50,- per child aged 5 - 9 years
- € 6,50,- per child aged 3-4 years
If you book only with breakfast, it is not possible to change your booking to half board when here. You are welcome to dine, however, in our à la carte in our restaurant until 18.00 hrs.
Single room supplement
Double rooms also available for single use on request. In this case, a vacant bed fee will be charged for the second empty bed. Superior Double Rooms are never bookable for just one person. (No double rooms are available for single use during the Christmas, New Year, Carnival and Easter periods).
Per person (15 years and older) € 2.80 per person per night. * is not included in the half board or package prices
Short stay supplement
A short stay supplement of € 10.00 per person per night will be charged for stays of up to 3 nights; this does not apply to stays of 4 nights or more.
A minimum stay of 7 nights applies during the holiday periods (Christmas/New Year, Carnival and Easter).
Dress code in the dining room
We kindly ask you to dress appropriately for dinner. You are not allowed to wear ski boots, ski suits, bathrobes or tracksuits for dinner. For breakfast, please wear casual wear or ski suits, but do not wear ski boots or bathrobes.
€ 18,00 per dog / day without food and € 45,00 mandatory deep cleaning fee. We allow to bring 1 dog per room. Daily access to the room has to be granted. Dogs are NOT allowed in all our room categories, dining room and wellness area. Therefore, please let us know when enquiring about a room if you intend to bring a dog with you. Dogs may only be brought along after you have received written confirmation from us. In any case, please contact us in advance. In the event that a dog is brought along without prior written confirmation from us, we reserve the right to adjust the room category accordingly (in such cases this will be a downgrade, however with no price adjustment !). If this is not possible due to the booking situation, the booking will be deemed cancelled and cancellation fees of 100% of the total package price will be charged in accordance with our cancellation conditions. Other pets are not allowed.
Travel agencies are welcome to book our package offers with half board on request, depending on capacity. Our packages can only be booked directly through us.

By purchasing a ski pass, you conclude a contract of carriage with WINTERSPORT TIROL AG & CO STUBAIER BERGBAHNEN KG. Legally independent contractors provide the individual services to which this pass entitles its bearer. Alpensporthotel Mutterberg, which sells the card, acts only as a representative for the Stubaier Gletscherbahn (Glacier Cable Car Co.). The respective company (Stubaier Gletscherbahn) is therefore obliged to provide the individual services and compensation for damages in the event of any incidents where liability is proven. Are always welcome in our hotel. We will be happy to make you an individual group offer (minimum of 26 full paying persons).
Hotel guests have FREE High Speed Wi-Fi access at their disposal.
Non-smoking / smoking areas
Our dining rooms, lobby and bedrooms are non-smoking areas. Smoking is allowed in our À la Carte Restaurant and in the Stadl.
Afternoon snack with tea and cake
Daily snack from 16.00 - 17.00 hrs.
Conditional package offers: In the event of lift price changes, we have to adjust our ski pass package prices accordingly!
Please note that NO money will be refunded in the event of early departure of package holiday arrangements. Regarding the package that includes the 3 ½-day ski pass, the ski pass is valid from 12.00 noon on the day of arrival + 3 following days.
In the event of cancellations, late arrival or early departure, we ad here to the regulations specified in the General Terms and Conditions of the Austrian Hotel Industry (AGBH).
We ask for a deposit to fix your booking. The deposit amount will be announced in the booking confirmation (40% of the total cost). We will send you our bank details for a transfer, and our cancellation terms and conditions with the booking confirmation.
We kindly ask you to settle your hotel bill on the evening prior to your departure, or by no later than 11 hrs on the morning of your departure. We accept cash, MasterCard, VISA and Maestro/EC cards with PIN code!

Cancellation and travel insurance
Valid for arriving guests until 1 May 2022.
Cancellations must be made in writing (no telephone cancellations possible), in any case you will receive a confirmation from us, the date on which we receive the email from you is the cancellation date. Make sure that the cancellation is sent to firstname.lastname@example.org, if we do not receive an email, it will not be considered a cancellation.
- Up to 14 days before the date of arrival - Cancellation of the room free of charge (20 Euro handling fee will be charged)
- Within 14 days until the day of arrival - 70 % of the room cost will be charged as cancellation fee.
- In case of late arrival, or early departure or non-arrival 100% of the room costs
When booking in times of Corona, it is very important to take out travel cancellation insurance to protect you from cancellation charges in the event of cancellation due to Corona and of course other illnesses.
This only applies, however, to private guests. Groups: free of charge up to 3 month before the intended arrival date.
Vacant bed surcharge
In the event of late arrival or early departure, the daily room price of the booked category will be charged, minus breakfast and evening meal (€ 20,- / full paying adult). This also applies to a reduced / partial cancellation of the stay. If packages are booked, there will be no refund for late arrival, early departure or short-term changes within the 6-week cancellation period.
”Hotelstorno Plus“ European Travel Insurance (with no excess fee) is more than just cancellation insurance for your holiday. Hotelstorno Plus also covers interrupted journeys, additional costs for late arrival or an involuntary holiday extension, as well as search and rescue costs including helicopter rescue.
Please note that we have to charge cancellation fees in accordance with the General Terms and Conditions for the Austrian Hotel Industry (AGBH) if you have not taken out travel insurance.
